Domaine Dujac
An influential Morey-Saint-Denis estate founded by Jacques Seysses in 1967, celebrated for whole-cluster, perfumed grand cru Burgundies.
About Domaine
Domaine Dujac was founded in 1967 by Jacques Seysses, son of a wealthy biscuit manufacturer, who learned winemaking under Gérard Potel at Domaine de la Pousse d'Or before acquiring a Morey-Saint-Denis estate and naming it Dujac — from "le domaine du Jacques." Joined by his wife Rosalind, Seysses became one of Burgundy's most influential modern vignerons, known for whole-cluster fermentation that yields fragrant, silky and structured pinot noir. The domaine is now largely run by his sons Jeremy and Alec, with Jeremy's wife Diana, and has expanded its holdings to roughly 15.5 hectares spanning a remarkable roster of grands crus. Clos de la Roche and Clos Saint-Denis sit at the heart of the range, alongside parcels in Bonnes-Mares, Échezeaux, Charmes-Chambertin and others. Dujac's estate is now farmed organically, and its wines are considered benchmarks for the elegant, aromatic style of the Côte de Nuits.

Editorial notes
Whole-cluster styling gives perfume and structure that reward cellaring; decant younger vintages and serve cool.
